We joined Kleeneze in March 2006, after moving to Staffordshire in preparation for Phil leaving the military in October 2006. We had heard about Kleeneze from some friends who had tried it, but not stuck at it. I had also sent for information when living at our previous home in Bedfordshire, but disregarded it as not for me at the time.

So what made this time the right time for us? I had just finished degree studies in Sports Therapy and didn't want a full time job, as I was preparing to set up my own practice. In addition, Phil would not be living at home permanently until his service career ended in 6 months time, meaning much disruption and travelling for us both in the meantime.

When a catalogue with a "Distributors Wanted" slip came through the door, it seemed like fate was giving us a push. We needed a flexible way to earn some extra money while establishing ourselves in new careers. Kleeneze offered us the flexibility we needed, with the option to simply add a little extra to the finances each week, or really go for it and develop a business if we wanted to.

Initially we chose the first option, and frequently swelled the weekly budget by £30 to £40. In the first few months, we were unable to put catalogues out regularly as we were often away from home. However, we have now built up a steady customer base, and are preparing to take the business a step further by sponsoring others who want to join. I am still practising Sports Therapy, and Phil is establishing himself in his new career as a Personal Trainer and Martial Arts Instructor, but Kleeneze has become our third business, in which we have not only seen a great opportunity to develop ourselves, but also met some inspirational people and well and truly found our way around our new neighbourhood!
